Upcoming Seminars – EOV and Regenerative Agriculture

Upcoming Seminars – EOV and Regenerative Agriculture

EOV farmers and the general public in Southland and South Otago can better understand how Ecological Outcome Verification (EOV) can help reposition agriculture for ecological, social and economic health through two workshop seminars led by me and the team at Ata Regenerative.

EOV is designed to keep all of us – brands, land managers, and consumers honest about the impact we are having on living landscapes. Based upon tangible outcomes rather than an inventory of farmer practices, EOV gives the land a voice of its own.

Workshop dates

The start of each session is at 3.30 pm. Venues open from 3 pm for afternoon tea. Speakers will include me, Mike Green and Siobhan Griffin.

There will be no charge for the general public attending the first part and no charge to EOV members as part of their Community Network subscription.

The workshops run as two separate sessions.

Session One

This will be open to the general public, but numbers are limited.

Time: 3.30 pm to 5 pm.

Topic: A wider view of how EOV relates to Holistic Management, Regenerative Agriculture, and the future of farming in NZ.

Take homes from session one:

  • Farming is a complex business, how to make effective decisions in the face of complexity
  • EOV is recognised globally as a tool to show the land is regenerating under management, how does it work?
  • Opportunities for farmers regenerating land and an introduction to Land to MarketTM

This is for EOV farmers only.

Session Two

Time: 5.30 pm to 7 pm

Topic: How to apply the learnings from EOV to achieve regenerative change on the farm.

Take homes from session two:

  • What are we learning from EOV
  • How do I interpret the information received
  • What are the tools I can impellent to create conditions for regenerative change

Session two starts with an open forum, so please share this with your friends and associates who are interested in becoming EOV farmers.

Discover how EOV can help you

These seminars present a great opportunity for surrounding Southland farms and the public to empower themselves with information and collective discussions about the important role EOV plays in our farms and communities.

Regenerative farming with EOV as the scientific backbone can help transform farms into effective, productive, and ethical success stories, which in turn leads to greater health of land, community, and economy.

If you would like to know more, we invite you to join one of our seminars.

Register your interest and select a venue by emailing Alex at alex@ata.land or find out more about what we do by visiting our homepage.

We look forward to seeing you there.
